First Adidas Pro Gamer Deal Goes To Ninja

Is it even possible to do a Fortnite dance while also doing a Slav squat?

Adidas has signed their first pro-gamer endorsement: Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. The German clothing brand is, per their statement to Engadget, doing this as a means to show their dedication to gaming culture. From the article:

The German sportswear giant told Engadget that the deal with Ninja is intended to show its commitment to gaming culture and “supporting creators who show dedication to excelling in their field.” Moving forward, Adidas said, it will continue to find new ways to support the 2.3 billion gamers across the world. The company added that, ultimately, it is here to help athletes make a difference in their game — no matter what games they’re playing.

I mean, that’s pretty cool of them, trumpeting the cause of all 2.3 billion of the world’s most oppressed class. Regardless, this is the first time Adidas has ventured outside of the lucrative athletics and Slav markets to aim at the gaming market. Either way, expect to see Ninja in their branding soon.
