NEW FINAL FANTASY XIV: A REALM REBORN PATCH 2.2 WEBSITE REVEALS TRAILER, PREVIEWS AND MORE

LOS ANGELES (Mar. 14, 2014) – Square Enix, Inc. today unveiled today unveiled a new trailer and new screenshots for Through the Maelstrom, the upcoming Patch 2.2 for FINAL FANTASY® XIV: A Realm Reborn™. The latest images offer players a glimpse into brand-new dungeons like the Lost City of Amdapor and new Hard Mode dungeons, including the lurid Halatali and the Illuminati overrun Brayflox’s Longstop. High-level players can also get a sneak peek at the Second Binding Coil of Bahamut raid which will be the highest level of difficulty available. As a quick reminder, players are also invited to check out the upcoming 13th installment of the Letter from the Producer LIVE with director / producer Naoki Yoshida, which will kick off on Friday, March 21^st at 2:30 a.m. (PDT) and cover upcoming Patch 2.2 content. Main Scenario Writer Kazutoyo Maehiro will also make a guest appearance to speak about the creation of the story and quests.
