When will Ezra’s march of terror across ¼ of the globe end?
Reportedly, Snyderverse The Flash Ezra Miller is driving across the United States, in bulletproof armor and allegedly armed. Miller currently believes that e’s being followed by both the FBI and the Ku Klux Klan. If we’re being honest, the former is more likely than the latter at this point.
According to Business Insider, this is the latest event in EZRAWATCH 2022 (what I’m now calling this unique crime spree featuring formerly rising star and dopey looking runner Ezra Miller). Previously, Ezra has, roughly in order:
- choked a woman in a bar in Iceland in 2020
- suggested that the KKK should go kill themselves
- committed a number of petty crimes, as well as one assault, in the state of Hawaii earlier in 2022
- housed children and their mother on a cannabis farm, in which said children were surrounded by drugs and unsecured firearms
- long-term manipulation of a teen fan as well as other (yet unconfirmed) grooming allegations
- thoroughly scared the shit out of a 12-year-old + parents, enough that they were granted a restraining order against Miller
- Running a sex cult out of an Airbnb in Iceland
Frankly, that last one’s baffling; you’d think Iceland would’ve told Ezra to take a hike after the chokeslam. I have a feeling it’s a mistake they’re not going to make again, but nothing in life is certain. But the really amazing thing here is that Ezra managed to stay out of the news for about 2 whole weeks; you know, between the grooming allegations and the whole restraining order thing. That might be a new record for Miller, at least as far as EZRAWATCH 2022 is concerned.
According to Business Insider, a number of friends and family are worried about Miller. one, speaking to BI, feared that Miller has lost touch with reality, saying:
I think Ezra has been enabled because of their fame, their wealth, their earning potential, their whiteness, and their beauty. It’s really hard to intervene when someone has as many resources as Ezra. When you’re famous, people are less likely to say ‘no’ to you. I think that those things can be really dangerous.
Miller’s career with Warner Bros. is rumored to be done; there’s also unsubstantiated rumor that Batgirl was a casualty of this (since The Flash and Michael Keaton Batman were tying all of this shit together), though it’s more believable that it was so bad that it would deal (more) damage to the brand. I get the distinct impression Warner Bros. execs are waiting to see what the hell happens to Ezra between now and the 2023 release of the movie before they decide what to do with The Flash. They’ve wasted an awful lot of money on a movie people will only go to see if their desire to see Michael Keaton as Batman outweighs their distaste for Ezra Miller.
It seems Ezra Miller has taken up the mantle of Florida Man at this point, except it’s bigger than one state now. I can’t wait for the next episode of EZRAWATCH 2022.
