If you were like me, you didn’t even notice.
X (or as I call it, Xitter) was down for several hours on Monday. And according to Elon Musk, it was due to cyberattacks against the site.
He then went on to claim that the bulk of the attack seemed to come from IP addresses originating in Ukraine.
There’s currently nothing publicly available to support Musk’s claim. Then again, it’s not surprising that anything connected to him would be targeted. What with his position with the (sigh) Department of Government Efficiency managing to sour him more than any previous events. These things have also seen Tesla dealerships, as well as privately owned cars made by the company, vandalized, and a drop in Tesla stock.
As of now, things have stabilized for Xitter. But it’s not unreasonable to expect it to happen again.
