EA Play happened today and while I was too busy ignoring EA, one announcement did mange to get through my EA filter. EA found it in their hearts to announce a new entry into the Skate series.
The last EA Skate game released on the PS3 with Skate 3 and has been quiet ever since. Well, that’s not entirety true as some jag-off took it upon himself to try and launch a Kickstarter to crowdfund Skate 4.
It was a hilarious disaster that was mocked by everyone that turned into something called Skate 4D. No clue if anything came of that with his EA buddy but I’m going to assume not.
But EA has finally taken up the torch where Kickstarter dude failed. The game is in the very early stages of development so no word on when it will drop or what it looks like.
Fans of the series have been bugging EA for nearly a decade now and finally they can sleep easy knowing they’ll be virtually kick-flipping on the upcoming consoles.
