E3 2019: Arcade1up debut TMNT and Marvel Comics cabinets!

Sweet baby Jesus. These are two of my favorite arcade games that I grew up with!

The people at Arcade1up have been reviving the arcade scene, much to out delight. Shrinking down the cabinets and making them affordable for the home opens up a whole new generation to kids who might not even know what a traditional arcade is.

The company has down multi-game cabinets, but has recently moved to single-game cabinets featuring some really big game from back in the day. The big ones from the 80s and even the fighting games from the 90s, of which saved arcades from completely dying out.

Now they are back with two of the biggest arcade hits of all time with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Marvel Superheroes. I can’t tell you how much money I spent playing the original TMNT. I would beg to go to the mall so my parents could shop while I spent my time at the arcade inside playing it.

What’s better is that these will be multi-cabinet arcades features massive hits beyond those two featured games.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

  • TMNT (original arcade title)
  • Turtles in Time

Marvel Superheroes

  • Marvel Superheroes
  • X-Men: Children of the Atom
  • The Punisher

The TMNT cabinet will even feature four-player support. You better believe these will be on my Christmas list!
