Dragon Quest Builders announces pre-order bonuses

SQUARE ENIX announced today that fans who pre-order the Digital Day One Edition of DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS through the PlayStation Store or participating retail stores will receive exclusive in-game items to enhance their block-building adventure.

In addition to the Day One Edition, which includes the Slimy Block Recipe, Springtide Sprinkles Recipe, and Gold Block Recipe, fans who pre-order through the PlayStation Store will receive:

  • An exclusive block-themed PlayStation 4 system theme
  • A Retro Building Pack with four different recipes: 8-Bit Brick Recipe, Olde Worlde Wall Recipe, Retro Roof Recipe and Time-Honored Turf Recipe

Additionally, those who pre-order through Amazon.com will secure two exclusive in-game items:

  • Knight Abhorrent & Knight Errant Battle Ticket / Mage Blueprint: Using this ticket triggers a battle against a Knight Abhorrent and Knight Errant which, when defeated, rewards players with a blueprint for a Mage statue.
  • Vis Mager & Dracky Battle Ticket / Warrior Blueprint: Using this ticket triggers a battle against a Vis Mager and Drackies which, when defeated, rewards players with a blueprint for a Warrior statue.

Finally, GameStop and EB Games pre-orders will secure two exclusive in-game items:

  • Green Dragon & Slime Battle Ticket / Hero Blueprint: Using this ticket triggers a battle against a Green Dragon and Slimes which, when defeated, rewards players with a blueprint for a Hero statue.
  • Tearwolf & Ghost Battle Ticket / Martial Artist Blueprint: Using this ticket triggers a battle against a Tearwolf and Ghosts which, when defeated, rewards players with a blueprint for a Martial Artist statue.

DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS will arrive on October 11 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita (digital only) at North American retailers and the Square Enix Online Store.
