Bandai Namco just announced on twitter that the Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ is getting an open beta in August.
ANNOUNCEMENT: The #NintendoSwitch Open Beta test for #DragonBallFighterZ is scheduled to start in August. The game will be released on September 28th with new local multiplayer features:
• 2v2 and 1v1 Match.

Not only that, but when the game launches on September 28, it’ll have some new features, like 2v2and 1v1 matches and an offline 6-player party match mode. So if you missed out on the original releases, you’re in for something good.
