Well, you might remember E3 for many things. But some will remember it as the time Dr Disrespect ate a Twitch ban for continuing to stream in a bathroom.
Technically, he didn’t break any of Twitch’s terms of service by doing so, as… unpleasant as doing so might be. They do have something about things that are “invasive of privacy,” but noting that word for word bans it. That said, California, specifically, has a law forbidding it. He seems to have avoided legal repercussions, but there’s not been any news on that front.
His ban fell pretty far short of the usual 30 days Twitch bans tend to run for. And his return was fairly silent; he made no social media posts to indicate that he was back. Instead, things spread by word of mouth. Which is probably why, when he came back, the chat was in subscriber-only mode. As for whether he had to do anything to return from his ban, well, only the Doc could tell us.
