DOOM was a fantastic return to form for the shooter. I loved it while it lasted, but the multiplayer experience was pretty basic for the world of 2016. As a single-player focused game it was only a matter of time before the game dropped in price, but $20 for a physical copy of the game is pretty impressive.
GameStop is currently offering DOOM for $20 for the physical editions, but digital editions are still full price. This all sounds great, but I can;t help but think this is the future of GameStop and online retailers. Digital codes don’t take up space, so clearing out and stopping the whole disc thing means more money for them.
Whatever the reason you can’t beat $20 for the game. It’s totally worth going into a GameStop to snag this. It should be noted that Amazon also has some pretty good deals on the various DOOM editions as well.
