Say what you will about Capcom, and most Japanese studios as of late, but when they get their act together they are capable of putting out some really cool stuff. Case in point is the upcoming package for Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition. While it feels like the game came out ages ago, this special edition makes me want to jump at the chance to play the game.
This collector’s edition of Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition comes in some of the coolest packaging I’ve seen in a long time -A freaking pizza box. Having played DMC 1 & 3 –I refuse to acknowledge DMC 2: The Diesel Jeans Advert as part of the series– I know of the inside nature of this gag, but newer players may be left scratching their heads about the pizza box choice.
The box also contains a lot of extra DMC goodness, but no word if we will see this special edition making its way stateside. Again, that’s another problem with these Japanese studios as they never bring over the stuff we really want, only to wonder why we don’t love their properties as much as those on the island nation.
Word is that we will see PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of this special edition. Check out the sample image below that shows off all the included content.
