The Dead Rising movie has a cast now

I forgot this was even happening. Dead Rising: Watchtower will premiere on Sony’s Crackle TV, so it’s not a movie movie, which would explain why they didn’t get a cast cast for director Zach Lipovsky (Leprechaun: Origins).

First up is Jesse Metcalfe (Dallas) as Frank West:

Now, I’m not super familiar with Dead Rising, but I gotta say, that looks completely off-base. I guess you gotta get the tweens hooked on Crackle at some point (see what I did there?).

The rest of the cast includes Sideways’ Virginia Madsen, Once Upon a Time‘s Meghan Ory, and Allstate’s Dennis Haysbert. Filming begins this week.
