We may not heard anything of substance regarding Daredevil (or any Netflix/Marvel property) during San Diego Comic-Con much to the chagrin of rabid Marvel fans. Sure, we heard lots of news on the upcoming Ant-Man and news on a sequel to Marvel’s latest hit, Guardians of the Galaxy, but fans were essentially left high and dry on the news front.
The Daredevil series that will be coming to Netflix is the first of many television properties from Marvel hitting Netflix. The show is on schedule to debut in May of 2015 and is currently shooting as you read this. In fact, we have a number of images from the set showing Charlie Cox playing Daredevil’s alter ego, Matt Murdock (or would that be the other way around?).
Marvel has been pretty good about keeping their film/television properties under wraps until the right moment, so you won’t be seeing the Daredevil costume in action here, but as these images are now out you can bet that Marvel is planning a big reveal in the very near future.
Say what you will about the Daredevil film of some years back (I personally that it was a lot of silly fun) the costume work on the Daredevil costume itself was phenomenal. I would even go as far as saying it’s one of my personal favorite takes on a heroes costume seen on film.
