Woah.
Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy was a runaway success on the PS4. It’s really not too much of a surprise; 90’s nostalgia has definitely set in as far as games are concerned, and there hadn’t been a real Crash game in years. Well, that success is letting the game expand platforms; sometime this year, Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy will make it’s way to both the PC and Nintendo Switch.
And while there’s no news about the Xbox One version that was promised at one point, the Crash news doesn’t end there. Before Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy launched last year, Dan Tanguay (the game’s creative director) hinted that there could be more on the way if the game was successful. Well, as that was the case there are definitely plans in motion for the franchise. Max Arguile of Merchandising company GB eye mentioned that a new game was in the works in the Spring 2018 issue of Licensing Source Book Europe.
As a matter of fact, Activision has a five year plan for the franchise. Which means that the game penciled in for 2019 will be followed by more Crash Bandicoot games. That said, details are light right now, so there’s no way to know exactly what form these games will take.
