This January 31st, 2017, Line of Sight officially launches as Free-To-Play on STEAM. After the initial Early Access period last September 2016, significant changes were made to weapon balance, item prices and additional game content. We’ve only seen the trailer, but the game looks pretty neat. At least enough to make us want to check it out on launch.
After numerous bug fixes and various adjustments in response to player feedback from Early Access users, the game is finally ready for its official release. LoS is developed by BLACKSPOT Entertainment Inc. which comprises team leaders from NEXON and creators of Combat Arms.
Witness a whole new breed of military FPS game with many different game modes to enjoy. Line of Sight showcases a unique, flexible customization system with a variety of characters and weapon modifications to choose from.

- Next-Gen Graphics
Pushes the latest GPUs to the limit and supports settings for better optimization and options for increasing game performance on various computer systems.
- Unique Game Content
Introduces a unique element called SuperPower(SP) which adds a creative twist to the usual shooter-style mechanics of the game. These include Psionic Abilities which allows players to inflict fatal damage to enemies, and ESP, a magic power often seen in RPGs. The game also caters to traditional FPS gamers with its Classic Mode. Users can completely turn off SP and enjoy matches with rulesets based on traditional FPS games.
- The most detailed Weapon Tuning System
Features an impressive and realistic weapon tuning system for primary and secondary weapons and offers a variety of different customization options. This includes giving detailed attention to parts that are normally hidden inside the weapons to add a genuine feel to gun customization. Players may use the “disassembled view” to inspect individual parts of their weapons.
- Highly customizable Character System
Highly customizable characters generally similar to the game’s weapon customization system. Players may style their characters by fine-tuning a number of different physical features to give them a look that truly stands out in-game.
- Built-in Real-time Statistical Analysis
Game statistics are analyzed to the finest detail by map, weapon, game mode, and so on. Users can access an overview of their progress and plan their gameplay strategies based on their stats which are available directly within the game. Players can also view the stats of enemies and compare their progress with others in real time, immediately after each match.
- Social Network System
Has Facebook integration with the client. Users may view their own Facebook profile image and invite their Facebook friends to play the game. Users can also take a screenshot at any time and upload it to their Timeline to show it off to friends.
- Built-in Ranking Match
Provides Ranking Matches for both Individuals and Clans. The ranking data is immediately updated upon completion of each match so that users can see the changes in rankings in real time. There are all-time rankings and several periodical rankings so everyone has more opportunities to take a spot regardless of durations of participation.
Expect more exciting updates in the future including: exciting PvE modes, a Custom Map Editor, a built-in professional tournament system, and MyRoom (Custom Hideout).
