Courtesy of the collective brains of and starring Jacobson and Glazer, “Broad City” is an odd couple comedy about two best friends navigating their twenties in New York City, whose adventures always lead down unexpected and outlandish paths. They’re broke, flawed and don’t shy away from the sticky situations NYC throws at them — they dive right into the muck. But no matter how bad it gets, these young broads are always down with whatever hits them.
Joining Jacobson and Glazer as series regulars in the first season are Hannibal Buress,
Arturo Castro, Paul Downs, John Gemberling, Chris Gethard and Stephen Schneider as well as guest stars Fred Armisen, Rachel Dratch, Janeane Garofalo, Michelle Hurst, Matt Jones, Pat Kiernan,
Jason Mantzoukas, Seth Morris, Amy Poehler and Amy Sedaris.
The ten-episode first season is executive produced by Jacobson, Glazer, Amy Poehler, 3 Arts’ Dave Becky, Sam Saifer, and Tony Hernandez, along with Eric Slovin as Co-Executive Producer. Brooke Posch is the Executive in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.
