The The Hollywood Reporter is reporting (badum cha!) that The Jungle Book: Origins film is getting a huge influx of A-list Hollywood actors to the project.

The Andy Serkis directed film will see Christian Bale (The Dark Knight Trilogy) will be taking on the voice role of Bagheera the panther. No word yet on if he will be resurrecting the gritty Batman voice.

Cate Blanchett (Lord of The Rings) has signed on to play the devious python, Kaa.

Finally, Naomie Harris (Skyfall) is stepping into the role of the female wolf Nisha.

This Warner Bros film sure is shaping up to be something special, at least with regards of the voice cast. The Jungle Book: Origins (still hate that name) opens October 21, 2016.
