Let me tell you something, brother.
Chris Hemsworth has been tapped to play HOAK Hulk Hogan in a biopic about the wrestler’s life. Scott Silver and John Pollono will co-write the script, with Todd Phillips directing.
The deal with Netflix for the film is expected to go through, though details are light at the moment. Michael Sugar will produce, through his Netflix-based Sugar23 production house. Todd Phillips will alsoproduce, alongside Braley Cooper, Eric Bischoff, and Hemsworth himself.
The pic will reportedly focus on Hogan’s early career, his rise to fame, and the beginnings of Hukamania. Most importantly, the Hulkster himself will serve as a consultant on the film, as well as an executive producer. Sugar23’s Ashley Zalta will also executive produce.
