No multiplayer, only khlav kalash.
If you were anticipating the opportunity to hop into some multiplayer in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, I’m afraid I have some bad news.
According to sources close to charlieIntel and Eurogamer, the game will feature only the single player campaign. What’s more, Raven Software isn’t developing the game. Rather, Beenox (the studio that aided Raven Software with the previous Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered) is in charge of the game. Which is supported by their hiring practices; they’ve had a number of job postings referring to the Call of Duty franchise.
And all of the rumors are solidified by Amazon Italy’s accidental listing for the game, detailing its launch an price point. According to the (now gone) listing, the game is due out April 30 for PS4 and Xbox One, at a price of €19.99 (about $25). Which is about what you’d expect for a remastered version of an older game without a multiplayer component.
Granted, Activision has not confirmed if any of the leaks or rumors are true. Hell, they haven’t even announced whether or not Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered even exists. That said, all signs seem to be pointing in that direction.
