During today’s livestream, Activision and Sledgehammer Games debuted the first trailer for the next Call of Duty game that takes the series back to what made it special -WWII.
The game has been in development for the past two years over at Sledgehammer Games and seems to put a huge focus back onto the single-player campaign story.
“This is based on one of the most monumental moments in human history, and we get to honor and respect that global sacrifice, to honor the men and women who fought for freedom on all fronts, on a global scale,” said Michael Condrey, Sledgehammer Games Co-Founder.
Call of Duty: WWII drops the player into the boots of a squad member in the 1st Infantry Division during 1944 to 1945 in the European theater of the war. The game brings along some Hollywood talent with the likes of Josh Duhamel (Transformers franchise), Jonathan Tucker (Justified, Parenthood), and Jeffery Pierce.
Call of Duty: WWII drops on November 3, 2017. More information will be made available during this years E3 event this summer.
