You read that right. For some reason, Bud Light has announced their own next-gen* console** which is beer-cooled*** and features a projector.
It’s also got some games specifically tooled for it:
- Tekken 7
- Soul Calibur 6
- RBI 20 Baseball
- Broforce
- Flashlight Freeze Tag
- Six Puck
And the marketing page really goes full force on the current console craziness. It just has to be seen to be believed.
If you’re looking to get it, well, prepare to be disappointed. There is only one, and the truth of the matter is that it’s being auctioned off. It’s for a good cause, too; proceeds will go to the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation’s “Change is on the Menu” campaign.
The auction is currently going strong; as of writing, the bid is at $4,330.69, and will probably retain that cent denomination until the auction ends (noice). There’s still 5 days and 15 hours left for the auction, so it’s anybody’s game.
