The Hollywood love story known as “Brangelina” has come to a shocking end this morning as Reuters is reporting that the “it” couple are no more.

The actress known for her role in the Tomb Raider movie series (and Girl Interrupted too) has filled paperwork to end her marriage to Brad Pitt. Her attorney spoke to media today to relay the news.

The divorce papers were filled in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday and cite ” irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. Jolie has also requested full custody of the couples six children with Pitt allowed visitation rights. The actress is not asking for any form of spousal support.

TMZ cited unnamed sources close to the couple as saying Jolie was not happy with the parenting methods employed by Pitt.
