Boondock Saints TV Show In Development

The Boondock Saints, the classic vigilante film from all the way back in 1999 is coming back once again. But this time instead of another film in the series we are potentially getting a television show by the name of The Boondock Saints: Origins.

Don Carmody Television (DCTV) has teamed up with original Boondock Saints writer/director Troy Duffy to adapt his idea into something that could work for the small screen. But just how they are doing it is pretty interesting.

The studio is running a pre-order campaign for the first season of the show that will be streamed digitally. We have no idea if the project is coming to any major streaming platform like Netflix of Hulu, or even to television, but fans will be happy regardless.

You can  head over to BoondocksBack.com and pre-order the insanely expensive The Boondock Saints: Origins collector’s box set. The box will give you access to the complete first season of the show before it comes to any streaming of television network.

Fans of the series should be ready to drop $597.77 on this box for the first season. To be fair, there is a lot of extras that come along with the box which include:

  • Limited Edition Collector’s Box
  • DVD and USB Flashdrive Digital Download of Season One of The Boondock Saints: Origins
  • Commemorative Production Booklet
  • TBS:O Limited Edition Signature Pennies

But if you want to spend even more to get The Boondock Saints: Origins rolling you can drop a cool $5,000 to snag yourself a golden ticket. This ticket will allow you and a friend to attend the world premiere screening on St. Patrick’s Day weekend in 2018.

It’s not “instead of” a third film. The TV show is IN ADDITION to a third film.
Maybe actually pay attention to what Troy Duffy is saying on FB and Twitter.

Can you provide a source for an official press release regarding a third film confirmation?
