Sid Anand is developing a Bollywood version of Rambo. And no, there won’t be the typical singing and dancing (I’d be okay with that -Ed).
The film, set to debut at Cannes, stars Tiger Shroff as Rambo. And Anand promises that the film will resonate with Indian audiences. But it also may be controversial, in a manner similar to First Blood in the 80’s.
And Stallone? He’s fine with it.

Needless to say, both Anand and Shroff were ecstatic. They both view both Stallone and Rambo as heroes. Anand’s motivation was to bring the character to a new generation, after all.
Shooting begins at the end of the year in the Himalayas.
