Imagine my shock.
You know, the interesting thing about Street Fighter V is how it launched without all of the base characters from previous games in the series. Which is forgivable in some cases; that said, the roster for Street Fighter II is classic. Which is why it’s odd that the game didn’t have some of those characters, like, say, Blanka.
Well, Capcom’s fixing that by introducing the green guy as the second DLC character of the third season. Not only does he return with his electrical attacks intact, he’ll also have his own story mode campaign. Apparently something to do about a shady businessman trying to make and sell dolls of Blanka, which his deliberately stupid story costume reflects.
Oh, and as a side note, it just so happens to be Blanka’s birthday today, too:

He may be the second character for this season, but Blanka isn’t the last. Four more DLC characters will be added to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition this year.
