It’s long been known that Kentaro Miura‘s Berserk was an influence on Dark Souls. And if you didn’t know that, well, here:
I mean, not all of those are absolute original to Berserk, but you can see the manga’s visual influence on the game nonetheless. But thanks to a modder, you can now play through Dark Souls the way it was meant to be: as Guts.
Made by Abject (the same modder that made Shovel Souls) it replaces a few textures and fiddles about with some models. But overall, it’s still Dark Souls. Only this time, the Black Swordsman is coming for the pretenders.
