Was meant to play before IT Chapter 2.

Birds of Prey has been in development for a while. And we were oerdue for a teaser. So this one was meant to play before IT Chapter 2. But this is the internet, and it’s less a series of tubes, and more a colander. So it leaked (granted, in potato quality).

Since it was supposed to run before IT Chapter 2, they decided to go with a little reference to that. A bunch of red balloons float up, before Harley Quinn steps in and smashes them, stating that she’s “so f***ing over clowns”.

Margot Robbie”s Quinn is joined by Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez). Ewan McGregor plays Villain Black Mask, and Dead Pigs director Cathy Yan is directing the film.

Birds of Prey is set for a February 7th, 2020 release.
