Episode 7 isn’t even out yet and we are already getting excited about the next core film in the Star Wars series. The Wrap has revealed that Benicio del Toro (Guardians of the Galaxy) has bee offered to role of the villain in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VIII by director Rian Johnson (Looper).

The film will be a direct followup to the J.J. Abram’s directed film and is set to release May 26, 2017.
