According to The Hollywood Reporter, Batwoman is next up for the Arrowverse. At The CW’s upfront presentation, Arrow star Steven Amell announced that the character would show up in the next crossover event. Said crossover airs this December.
We have no clue who has been cast to play the role, if anyone has been cast yet. And according to CW President Mark Pedowitz, it will be the first time the character will appear “on any screen”(technically untrue, but we’ll let it slide). And she’ll be fighting alongside the other Arrowverse heroes.
The other bit of related news is that the Berlanti-produced shows will finally start incorporating Gotham City. Which, aside from a throwaway line on Supergirl and a few other references, hasn’t really been explored in any of the CW shows. Granted, it will have nothing to do with the soon ending Gotham, as the shows are by different producers. But who knows what’s in store? They’ve already smacked the crap out of the Arrowverse with multiverse theory., and they’re adding Batwoman to the mix.
