Battlefield has always been a multiplayer affair since it launched with Battlefield 1942. But the series has always tried to inject some single-player into the mix to appease everyone. I love single-player experiences, and love them even more in multiplayer heavy games as that is where you can cut your teeth and learn the basics without dying every five or so seconds.

That said Battlefield 1 is looking to have a pretty interesting single-player mode and the new trailer for it has us with more questions than answers. It looks to take place from a single characters perspective from all across the fronts of WWI.
