Assassin’s Creed 3 is free this December

Ubisoft is finishing up their 30th anniversary giveaway with Assassin’s Creed 3. Relieve the video game version of the American Revolution (I don’t remember my professor talking about ancient space aliens and such, but I could have been sick that day) as reluctant Native American Assassin, Connor.

It would only make sense to end the celebration with the series that helped turn Ubisoft into one of the biggest publishers of the past few console generations. Assassin’s Creed 3 might not be the best of the series, but it’s still a lot of fun in its own right.

But does that really matter when it’s free for everyone? People can be a lot more forgiving to a title is they don’t have to shell out $60, and to be fair, Assassin’s Creed 3 is still a pretty unique experience with a cool setting.

Be sure to head over to Ubisoft Club on December 7th to snag yourself a free copy and remember that you can still pick up Far Cry: Blood Dragon before time runs out.
