Arnold Schwarzenegger has always been known as the greatest action star of the 80’s and 90’s. So when you hear that Mr. Terminator himself is staring in a zombie film you’d be ecstatic, if this were 1991. But here we are in 2015 and Schwarzenegger is staring in a very different zombie film.
Maggie tells the tale of Schwarzenegger seeing his only daughter infected by a zombie virus. This seems to be a slow acting virus so Schwarzenegger is allowed to bring her home for a short time until the infection takes hold and she is forced into quarantine.
The movie tells the tale of Schwarzenegger fighting the system in order to protect his daughter who can’t be saved. How far would you go to protect your child, what would you do even if you know there is no hope. Maggie looks to be tackling a different side of a zombie outbreak and may show that Schwarzenegger has some dramatic chops.
