Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to Predator role in Predator: Hunting Grounds DLC

Predator: Hunting Grounds DLC

Its been some 33 years since Arnold Schwarzenegger played the icon Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer in the groundbreaking action film, Predator. And now he’s coming back for one last ride, being one of the few people in the series who actually managed to bag himself a Predator.

Dutch is part of the upcoming paid DLC for Predator: Hunting Grounds. But this is more than a simple skin for the game as it will also tell the story of what Dutch has been up too since his time in the jungle, something future Predator films have wanted to play with to no avail.

These story elements aren’t a full expansion to the game as the story they tell will come via audio logs that the player can collect, but unlike the ones in the game you’ll find these as you level up you account. This means you can stick to the action in-game and not run about looking for dropped logs.

But the star of the show is the inclusion of Schwarzenegger, who recorded all new lines for the role. The man has been on a video game role as of late as his T-800 form was included in Mortal Kombat 11.

There are an additional 3 DLC packs that are listed, but no word on what those might include. The current guess is that they will feature various alumni from the series. I’m all for a very retired Danny Glover running around the jungle complaining about retirement.
