Personally I was hoping for a LEGS announcement, but maybe that’s in store for the holiday season. It would feature you strapping the JoyCon controllers to you feet and kicking like a dying fish.

Anyways! ARMS was the first actual game announced during tonight’s Nintendo presentation and for how silly it all was, it does look like a spot of fun. Still, I can’t fight this feeling that this is more a tech demo for what the JoyCon controllers can do than anything else.

At the very least ARMS will be insanely fun to watch as all that flopping about is sure to cause a few headlines about kids destroying all the shit in the living rooms.

Let’s just hope that the sensors in the JoyCon controllers are better than those in a Wiimote, because if they are then ARMS might just be the game to really show of a bit of that unique flair that Nintendo really needs to stand out.
