Mac fans still say macs are safer.
As it turns out, Apple’s macOS High Sierra has a really bad bug. Specifically, one that could give someone complete access over your account.
Lemi Orhan Ergin, a Turkish software developer, pointed out the flaw in a tweet this Tuesday:
Dear @AppleSupport, we noticed a *HUGE* security issue at MacOS High Sierra. Anyone can login as "root" with empty password after clicking on login button several times. Are you aware of it @Apple?

But wait; it gets worse. If you have Remote Management enabled, anyone can use this exploit via Apple Remote Desktop or screensharing.app. Apple hasn’t made any comments as of this writing, but they should probably get on that. They don’t really need to make a problem they already have worse, do they?
