Antigravity racer “Antigraviator” is now on Steam Greenlight

The antigravity racer “Antigraviator” has been submitted to Steam Greenlight and needs your votes.

Antigraviator is a futuristic head-to-head racing game where you pick up power globes along a race track so you can trigger traps on your opponent. It reminds me a lot of the classic WipeOut and a touch of F-Zero, two games that are much-loved.

With the publication on Steam Greenlight comes a new playable alpha demo. The demo is a vertical slice of the look and feel of the game and is by no means a finished product.

The game was showcased in a pre-alpha version at “Indigo” in the Netherlands, “indie games play 7” in France and last weekend at “Screenshake” in Belgium. It was also featured in episode 6 of the TV show “Bouva and the games” on Belgian national television station Ketnet. That seems pretty impressive, but it’s no (insert populat American late night host here).

Future plans for the game include among other things more ships that you will be able to customize to your own taste, online multiplayer and 12 tracks across 4 different worlds. It all sounds like a fun time, but since you can check out the demo you can find out for yourself.

Head on over to http://www.antigraviator.com/ to download the Alpha Demo of Antigraviator.
