It may seem like the Galaxy S5 just hit stores, but Samsung might already have another version coming. Reports from SamMobile, state that the Galaxy S5 “Prime” will be coming in June equipped with a quad-HD (2560×1440) display, which means that it will have higher-end specs than the Galaxy S5. The Statement continues …
“The device could debut the new octa-core Exynos 5430 processor that sports an integrated Intel LTE modem, clock speeds of up to 2.1 GHz on the powerful Cortex-A15 cores and 1.5GHz on the low-power Cortex-A7 cores, and the Mali T6XXX GPU rated at 600MHz.”
It also points out that the device will mostly have a metallic design, although I personally doubt it.
A Variation of the S5 shows a model number SM-G906S on Samsung’s official website.
Also indicated is that the previous device had a 2560×1440 display .
Galaxy S5 “Prime” might be Samsung’s Answer to the LG G3, an upcoming phone that is rumored to also have a quad-HD display, as well with top-end specs.
