Animated Netflix Series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Gets First Images

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers is an upcoming animated spin-off of the action movie series of the same name. I have no idea how the series still has legs or how it went from stealing DVD players to genetically enhanced super-vilians, but even stupid people need stupid movies.

The show starts Tony Toretto, the teenage cousin of the Dom Toretto

Anyways, now the series is getting an animated version courtesy of Netflix and bald-headed weirdo, Vin Diesel. The series launches on December 26 of this year and no matter what happens it won’t be worse than the Fast & Furious ride at Universal Studios.

The show starts Tony Toretto, the teenage cousin of the Dom Toretto from the real-world series. It’s like the Toretto family line are all super cool and superhuman. Tony is recruited by the government to take on a crime organization that like to drive fast.

Yeah, it’s about as stupid as it sounds but what do you expect from the minds of the people behind The Fast & Furious. It’s the same current story of the movie just watered down in animated form for kids. It also looks very plastic-like with generic facial models that are only slightly tweaked for additional characters.

Clearly this isn’t meant for me, but fans of the series with kids might dig it. Check out the gallery below for your first look at the upcoming series.
