Titled Animal Crossing Pocket Camp.
Nintendo just unveiled their latest smartphone game in a Nintendo Direct. Animal Crossing Pocket Camp offers the expected Animal Crossing gameplay on the go.
Players become the manager of their very own camp. And for your camp to be successful, you need to have campers coming to visit. And to do that, you need to turn a spars clearing into a happening hangout.
Crafting can get you new furniture, which will then draw certain visitors to your campsite. You can get crafting materials by fulfilling certain requests, as well as scrounging around the various areas in your van camper. The camper is also customizeable, and functions as your house would in other games in the series.
Of course, you can pay for certain items from shops with Bells, as well as cover the non material costs of crafting. And the usual will work for earning Bells: stuffing nature’s bounty in your pocket and flipping it for fat stacks. There are also Leaf Tickets. They’re the game’s premium currency, the same as with Fire Emblem Heroes’ Orbs. They can be used for any number of things, from substituting for materials you don’t have, to speeding up work on a campsite expansion. They can be earned for free in small amounts in game, or you can buy them with real money.
As it turns out, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp doesn’t skimp on things to do. It even has a day/night cycle tied to real time, just like the regular installments do! You can get a better look through the Nintendo Direct. You won’t have to wait long to set up your tent. Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is set to release sometime this November.
