Get it, cuz their named Amazon?
Amazon’s Spheres building has been in the making for a while. And now, they’ve finally started showing it off.

The Spheres Building is certainly unique. That’s because it’s host to a sizeable chunk of rain forest in the middle of downtown Seattle. And the organic theme doesn’t just stop with the foliage.

There aren’t any enclosed spaces in the Spheres. Employees can cluster (on appointment) in one of the many open-topped “treehouses” in the building. In total, the Spheres can hold up to 800 people at any one time.

The building has a visitors center that is open to the public… with a reservation. You can also get a tour, but that also takes a reservation. That said, the company plans on providing educational opportunities for students. And given the fascinating tropical nature of the building’s unique collection of flora, any student would consider that a boon.
