Fallout is one of the most important video games franchises of all time. It helped revolutionize the industry in so many way even though the latest entry in the series has tried its very best to wash all that goodwill away.
And while war might never change in the Fallout universe, that war is about to take on a new form thanks to Amazon. The creators behind the hit series Westworld are currently working alongside Amazon to develop a television show based on the Fallout video game series.
Reports are in the early stages but word on the street is that the series has landed a “substantial” commitment from the streaming platform.

The Fallout universe seems like a great playground as every game in the series takes place in a different time and place in a post-apocalyptic America. One that was frozen in time in the 1950s thanks to all-out nuclear war.
With the lack of the silicon chip, technology froze and adapted around tubes and other retro electronics giving players a familiar yet unique world to inhabit.
This is one to keep an eye on as the idea of seeing a Vault Dweller having a grand adventure on television can’t be any worse than whatever the hell Fallout 76 has been.
