Amazon Dash users will be able to, at push of a button, say “Whole Milk” or “Strawberry Yogurt” or even something like “Guitar Strings” to have said item saved into Amazon’s online store. The product is then automatically added to the users shopping cart. But wait, there’s more! With Dash users will also be able to scan barcodes on hundreds of thousands of items when they’re about to run out, and have more shipped right to your door.

The chain of Amazon Fresh locations will expand over time. The Dash unit, which connects your home Wi-Fi network will be made available free of charge, by invitation only to a very select number of amazon users before going national.
