All-Star Fruit Racing powerslides onto consoles

Go bananas this July when All-Star Fruit Racing, the most action-packed a multiplatform kart racer comes to PlayStation 4Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

All-Star Fruit Racing looks propel players into a world filled with fruity action: Drift through looping bends, soar over jumps and defy gravity itself around tubular tracks in a colourful racer bursting with lots of modes.

Look, this isn’t Mario Kart or Sonic All-Stars Racing, but I’m not one to knock a silly kart racer. Not having any relatable of known characters isn’t going to do the game any favors, as it seems that’s what all kart racers seem to need, but the game looks like a bit of fun.

The game features a series of championship modes and you can even create Custom Championships and select between three different difficulty settings and speeds to fine-tune your challenge, or dive into a range of different gametypes including Dragster races, Hill Climbs, Elimination races, Time Attacks and even modifier-filled modes that rewrite the rulebook.

The game features five worlds: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Special Islands. As with other kart racers you will be able to use items include fruit-based moves with the Juicer power-up system. Collect different types of fruit as you race to fill up The Juicer’s liquid tanks, then custom-combine your juice tanks’ power to let loose a combo power-up.

A neat feature is the ability to unlock new parts as you play to help you redesign, rebuild and recolor your ride. It’s not just about winning – it’s about winning with style, and over 32,000 possible kart combinations await in the All-Star Fruit Racing Garage.
