In the following three minute video below showcase we see the entirely new updates to some of the biomes that will be playable at launch.
The first standalone single-player MechWarrior title in development for PC in nearly 15 years, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will feature PvE ‘Mech combat in a career-based Mercenary campaign driven by player choice. The title will also feature extensive modding via Steam Workshop and a co-op mode.
New enemy base structures will force you to rethink an approach on a case, and the video takes a look at various types of weather and terrain you will encounter (heavy fog, electrical storms, deep canyons requiring a Mech with jump jets because getting stuck down there suuuuuucks)
The build update footage also demonstrates a more complete look at the damage that buildings can sustain (more on that very soon because everyone likes wrecking stuff!), and the explosions that will result when you blast an enemy helicopter out of the sky.
