Netflix continues to expand into more original programming with a new comedy from Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch. Alison Brie is set to star as Ruth, a struggling actress in Hollywood that dives into the world of professional wrestling.

GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling)  itself was an actual wrestling organization that sprung up in the 1980’s as a response to the WWF (now WWE)  and it’s nearly male only product.

Orange Is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan is serving as executive producer on the project. This limited run series will feature 10 episodes, but no release date has yet been announced.
