Amazon has announced that their Amazon Alexa talk-box thing that everyone has but never uses is getting some upgrades.
You’ll soon be able to purchase voice packs and get Alexa to talk like your favorite celebrity. Nothing creepy about that in the slightest.
The first voice up on offer for $0.99 will be that of Samuel L. Jackson. He will be your digital friend in a not creepy manner.
More voices are coming throughout 2020. The low cost is a special price, so if you want in on the fun get the voice early.
There will be two versions of Jackson’s voice: an explicit one that falls more in line with his movie personas, and one that they safe is family-friendly and probably won’t tell you to go fuck yourself.
