Ajit Pai Knew FCC Cyberattack Was Bullshit

FCC

Kept it hidden for 7 months.

There’s a certain delight in watching the deserving get raked over the coals. And that’s what will be happening to Ajit Pai in the near future.

Because at the recent hearing regarding the nation’s broadband and cellular infrastructure, Pai admitted that he knew the FCC cyberattack last year was bogus, and had known for 7 months. His excuse? The commission’s inspector general told him to keep it under wraps.

Previous to the report exposing the attacks as a hoax, he threw his former chief information officer, Dr. David Bray, under the bus for it, whom he stated provided him with “inaccurate information”.

Pai stated “My assumption was it was John Oliver’s viewers”, claiming that his CIO (Bray) informed him otherwise.

God, what a tool.
