The Airlander 10 is the sort of thing that would have come around decades ago had the Hindenburg not exploded. This fancy airship bills itself as a hybrid air vehicle that is a cross between an airplane and an old, no doubt top hat wearing, blimp. It has the distinct honor of being the longest aircraft to ever take to the skies, but you know the old saying: The bigger they are the harder they fall. Oh, and it totally looks like a giant butt, but I can not lie and I couldn’t find a quote about butts.
During a recent test flight the Airlander 10 crashed when the cockpit (just south of the butt crack) nose-dived upon landing. Reports indicate that everyone on-board the airship is fine, but the program is now grounded until the team can figure out what happened. The Butt ship (Airlander 10) should hopefully be back in the air soon!
