SOEDESCO announced a new original IP: AereA. The first game in the AereA-series is in development under the SOEDESCO brand and will be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year.
With AereA, the publisher looks to add an exciting new brand to its portfolio. The first title in the AereA-series is a music-themed action RPG in which the player goes on a quest to unravel the mysteries of the broken world of Aezir.
As a disciple of the Great Maestro Guido you have to unravel the mysteries of Aezir. Find out what happened to the world and return the nine primordial instruments to restore balance and bring peace to the world.
As a former musician I love when it gets incorporated into games. Well, outside of the Rockband and Guitar Hero style of games. I remember back in the early days of the Xbox 360 there was a music based RPG that was pretty sweet.
While AereA isn’t based on actual musical legends, it does at least break the traditional Final Fantasy mold that so many modern RPGs are stuck in. Fingers crossed this one comes together and lives up to its concept.
