What happens when you wake up to find you’re the sole survivor of some catastrophic accident that has killed everyone and laid waste to the space station you were on. Adr1ft is being billed as a “first-person experience” and will offer Oculus Rift support for PC users.
The game’s website has this to say about the project:
Floating silently amongst the wreckage of a destroyed space station with no memory and a severely damaged EVA suit, the only survivor struggles to determine the cause of the catastrophic event that took the lives of everyone on board. The player fights to stay alive by exploring the wreckage for precious resources, and overcomes the challenges of an unforgiving environment to repair the damaged emergency escape vehicle and safely return home.
This is the type of game that gets me excited about being a PC gamer, but it’s great to know that it’s also coming to current gen systems as well. Just remember that in space no one can hear you scream.
